Here are some ideas for tactics:
- Plant wetland plants at existing beachy area under BK Bridge
- Wetland canoe tour that leaves from our site and connects site to both former and current wetlands
- City-wide wetland restoration effort (water cleaning, environmental education, and habitat reclamation)
- Fishermen communication board (digital?)- to leave messages for each other and talk to others (what they've caught, fishing conditions)
- Transparent fence
- Clarify paths to waterfront with street paint, glow in the dark decals
- Digital user-compiled database on site about user activities
- On site chalk portraitist
- Stewardship program: cleaning up streets and neighborhoods surrounding site as well as site itself
- Gardening on site
- Electronic community board (about stuff happening in surrounding community)
- Fishing equipment rental and volunteers for fishing workshops (with Ecology Center?)
